By Football Italian staffThe squad for the 2018/19 season has arrived in the Principality, with the first games against the national side taking place at the Principe.
The team is comprised of players who were not in the first-team squad for this season, namely Giorgio Chiellini, Mario Balotelli, Marco van Basten, Giacomo Bonaventura, Mario Pasalic and Paulo Dybala.
They will join the rest of the first team squad on the field against the Serie A outfit.
The squad will then meet the senior squad for its first match at the Brescia Stadium.
The squad is being assembled in a very early stage, with only a handful of players being trained at the training grounds of the Princips.
It is believed that the squad will be ready for the first match in the summer.
Italy have made a strong start to the World Cup qualifiers, with their first game against the Netherlands a draw.
The Serie A side was given an early run in the qualifiers, having beaten them 1-0 at home to the Principed.
The team has since picked up three points and will now travel to France to take on France A.
The Principalities match will take place on June 11, as it will be their first match against a side in the competition since a 1-1 draw with Belgium in September 2018.
