Surfing, hiking and camping at Laughlin River Lodge, a ‘snowy’ mountain lodge in Nevada

In February, Laughlin, located in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, became the latest location to get a snow lodge.

The lodge, which was designed by British architect Graham Smith, sits on a rocky outcrop with a waterfall in the centre.

While the structure is popular with visitors, it also offers a great place to soak up some of the best snow and ice conditions in the country.

“I love the feeling of the snow on your skin.

It feels like you’re swimming in the water,” said Laughlin resident Julie Sargent.

“You can take a deep breath, and it just melts.”

Sargtent and other locals have long enjoyed camping at the lodge, and a recent article in The Desert Sun suggested the mountain lodge might be a good choice for some people who don’t want to take the long drive from their homes.

“The snow is amazing.

It’s like the air is alive,” Sargnent said.

“There’s a lot of water, and if you don’t know how to swim, you’re in for a shock.”

Sargeant and her husband, Craig, also live in the nearby town of Pahrump, about 100 kilometres away.

They have been snowmobiling at Lighthouse Lodge since the lodge opened in March, and are now enjoying the experience on a hike.

Craig Sargant said they decided to move to the area because of the lodge’s snow.

“We love snow and we love skiing, so we thought this would be a nice way to get out of the city,” he said.

The couple spent a couple of weeks on the trail, which included an overnight in a nearby resort.

“Once you get the adrenaline flowing, it’s like a dream come true.

It was definitely worth it,” Craig Sargeants said.

As the weather warmed up, Craig and Julie went skiing and snowmobiled in the snow.

They said it was the best thing they’ve ever done.

“It was so beautiful and so peaceful, and we had to do it all the time,” Craig said.

He said the lodge had the most amazing views.

“This place is just beautiful.

It really was a dream,” he added.

“To see this, you don.tttttt”
